Our chocolate is made with freshly roasted and ground organic beans from Bocas del Toro. It contains all of the natural cocoa butter and a good deal of the theobromine-rich shell. Theobromine is a stimulant, and contributes to the euphoria and general feeling of wellness that chocolate is renowned for.

 In Panama, cacao is a traditional crop. The fincas producing cacao, sell their dried fermented beans to a nationally run marketing cooperative. It is organic mainly because the cost of pesticides and herbicides prohibit their use by the local farmers.
